💜 I cannot count how many times we rescheduled this session.
It all started with weeks in the 100 degrees, then an unwell baby, and ended with unsteady weather, unpredictable thunderstorms, and hurricane-like winds.
Almost like it was not meant to be.
This day at the duck pond started out sunny and ended in heavy rain and lightning.
But I worked fast and little Hall was the perfect little gentleman.
Calm & Happy!
His beautiful blue eyes were always on me to follow every move I made.
Such an adventurous boy.
And the rain did not stop him at all.
He enjoyed it just as much!

There is so much to say about our journey to parenthood - and my journey to motherhood.
My husband and I found out that we were pregnant in the most unconventional way—we had been trying and our at-home pregnancy tests continued to say, “no.”
When we arrived at an infertility clinic, little did we know we were already 11 weeks pregnant.
The best and biggest surprise of our lives!
Fast forward to November 29th, just one day after my 32nd birthday, our little boy (we didn’t know whether we were having a little boy or girl) arrived 1 month early; he was ready to join the party early!
As I recovered from a very traumatic emergency c-section delivery, we experienced so much joy and love as a family of 4 — our firstborn pup was adjusting too!
We had a lovely first Christmas and holiday season and enjoyed all the snuggles and newborn coos…then 6 weeks later we found our family standing outside in the middle of the night in 10-degree January weather watching our family nest burn down.
In the middle of the night we determined that our home was on fire.
The months have been difficult, but one thing is for sure, Hall is our greatest blessing and our brightest light!
We are truly so grateful to all be here together and safe!
It’s all about our little one and this little family of ours when you boil it down.
Doesn’t make the whole thing any easier, in fact, it’s been downright hard and painful, but, it does re-align the important things once more.
We love being parents and it’s my absolute favorite thing being Hall’s mom.
I just love telling the stories of beautiful moms about their Motherhood journeys.
Not one story is like the other and it is never boring. And I love seeing how moms step IN FRONT of the camera and document the love they have for their children.
